Anatase Pure Technologies uses a revolutionary technology to purify water and air. This technology is based on the use of ultraviolet UV radiation (destroys and modifies the DNA of microorganisms) in combination with Titanium Dioxide to destroy 99% of biological pollutants, such as bacteria and viruses that can be contained in water and air.

Why Anatase Pure?

Our technology uses the most powerful crystallographic form of Titanium Dioxide.

Anatase is the most sensitive form and reacts the most intensely to electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths between 10 and 400 nm a spectrum that is mostly affected by ultraviolet light.

Our technology provides the most efficient system of decontamination, eliminating 99.99% of microorganisms with a low energy consumption during the purification process.

Why 99.99%? UV light falls directly on the contaminating microorganism and destroys it, but in some instances, this microorganism could be in a shadow area where the light does not fall.

Shadow areas can be produced by any speck of dust or any suspended solid. This is where the hydroxyl radical plays its role in disinfecting water. Since the pore is submerged in water and this, thanks to the photocatalysis of Anatase, generates millions of hydroxyl radicals OH.

It will be enough for one of them to adhere to the surface of the microorganism to break its protective membrane and destroy it.

UV purification systems can be used to protect against water-borne viruses, bacteria, molds, and pathogenic disease-causing microorganisms such as giardia and cryptosporidium.
